Add-On Modules

Extend your website with popular add-on features like photo galleries, online forms, blogs and more. Modules are integrated into the one central system and work seamlessly with the rest of your website.

Website Add-On Modules

Keep your website visitors up to date with an interactive blog. Post your blog entries with title, post date and unlimited article length, enable easy searching of blog articles by assigning tags (key words) to each entry, automatic archiving of articles so your visitors can search through your blog history and display a comments form to enable your visitors to interact with your blog articles.
Invite your visitors to comment on web pages, events, blog articles, FAQ items. Domments can be set up for general visitors or those with a user login to your website. Settings allow for auto-entry of comment (with some spam protection) or your approval before visitor comment is published. An email notification sent when a new comment is posted to your website.
Ideal for testimonials or other featured content, a selection of rotating text is dynamically displayed on your website to add some interest and movement.
Add movement and extra style to your website with a feature home page banner. The ideal way to showcase your brand, your customised banner includes a slideshow of 3-7 images. Each image can include optional captions and links if desired.
Accept payments directly from your website with a customised online form or simple product set up. The payment connection goes through popular secure gateways such as PayPal or eWay. This eCommerce solution is ideal for basic payment situations in which a full eCommerce store is not justified, such as collecting invoice payments, donations and memberships.
Collect subscribers from your website or import your mailing list. With the email marketing module, set up automated campaigns, delivering personalised business branded emails to your customers. Track statistics and monitor performance - all withing the same website login.
A simple booking module to collect bookings for any type of event like workshops, seminars, concerts etc. Set optional capacity limits, automated follow-up emails and collect payments online if applicable.
Display a list of common questions on your website. The question will automatically link to the answer either on a new page or and accordian style pop-under link.
Offer downloads for your site visitors in a wide range of formats including PDF, Microsoft Word and many more. Ideal for hard copy forms, fact sheets, instructions, menus, marketing material and more. File size is automatically displayed on website with an icon displayed to identify the document format. Visitor has choice of opening document or downloading to their computer. Documents are very easily uploaded using the module in the admin area.
A simple yet effective module suitable for company news, industry news, announcement of events and more. Post your news in the admin area with subject heading and event dates for display on your website in an attractive layout and format. Items are automatically displayed in chronological order. This module is great for small - medium amounts of news but if you would rather keep a large volume ongoing archive of news items, I would recommend the Blog module instead.
Gather targetted information from your clients with a customised online form. When a user submits a form, the results are emailed to you with data also stored in website admin area for future reference. Ideal for enquiries, quotes, feedback and much more.
The custom gallery option takes the standard gallery a bit further than grid display of thumbnails. Images are displayed along with optional headings, sub headings and summary text. This option is perfect for galleries needing more detail such as staff galleries, product descriptions and project details.
The standard photo gallery is a popular option for many websites and simply displays images automatically in a grid format from the gallery folder in your website admin area. The module features automatic thumbnail generation with pop up enlargement displayed with an optional short caption for each photo. Ideal for general photos eg company projects, products, staff events and more.
The secure zone offers a password protected / member only access to your website. A login box is displayed on website for users to access along with a subscriber list stored and editable via website admin console. A secure zone is very useful for members, committee or staff to access private news or documents such as procedures, forms and other inter-office documents.
Get better results from your social media by including them into your website. Popular social media data can be integrated right into your web pages to maximise your marketing exposure, including Facebook, Twitter, Trip Advisor and YouTube.
Videos are an exciting way to showcase your services with videos hosted by YouTube or Vimeo being powerful solutions. A single video can be added as a permanent feature of your web design or a video gallery can be created for multiple videos which are added often.
Web apps are custom designed databases enabling content to be displayed in a highly customised format. I use this framework to create specialised pages for my clients from a simple testimonial section of a website through to custom galleries, listings of all types which would include text, data and images, directories and a lot more. Ongoing maintenance is easy for clients with simple data entry into a web app form ensuring these great looking pages are laid out consistently, professionally and displayed on the website in the correct format.

Additional Services

The following additional services are also available either by Darwin Web Design or other professionals that I work with regularly and can recommend highly:

Most projects are completed primarily via email but if you prefer face to face meetings to discuss ideas and your requirements in full detail, we can schedule in a site visit. Darwin / rural area only (otherwise phone meetings are also an option).
Securing your domain name is as important as registering your business name! As part of the web design process, I can check availability and register your new domain name on your behalf. When your website is ready to go live, I can then quickly launch your site by managing your domain records on your behalf.
Chances are you have your domain based emails up and running already. If you are registering a new domain name, the professional option is to use domain based email accounts rather than some free hosting provided by your ISP or other service (eg hotmail). As a web designer, I don't get involved with email hosting but can recommend a local IT company who offers professional cloud based solutions and expert advice and support for anything email related (or you may already have your own preferred supplier). I can work with them to ensure they have the access needed to get your emails up and running as soon as possible.
If you would rather have your website managed and have no time or interest in updating yourself, I offer an affordable updating service on an as-need basis.
For clients who would like to update their own website, I provide website and email marketing training. The onsite training service is available for the Darwin/rural area (otherwise I have step by step tutorials for interstate or remote clients).
