Australian Domains

2 year registration

International Domains

Point your domain name to any other web address (eg point a .com domain to the .com.au). Destination website address is hidden from view

Which domain type to choose?

If possible, I recommend securing both the Australian and International domain (eg both .com.au and .com) as soon as possible. The international domain system has no eligibility requirements so anybody could secure "your" domain name so don't miss out! These days, registering you domain names is just as important as registering your business name!

• com.au : For commercial entities, such as companies (with ACN as registered through ASIC), and businesses (registered with state governments)
• asn.au : For incorporated associations, political parties, trade unions, sporting and special interest clubs
• org.au : For charities and non-profit organisations

Other domain types

I am also able to register lesser used domains such as .net.au, .biz, .info but recommend businesses stick with the more commonly known domains as above. They are easier for your clients to remember, show up better in the search engines and have more credibility for your organisation!
