Content Management Systems
Have control over your website with a content management system. This is a type of website that is set up in such a way for you to maintain and manage yourself at any time you wish. It involves a database system which I install on your web server and you login to make updates instead of buying software to use on your local computer.
For many of my websites, I use an open source system called CMS Made Simple (CMSMS). It's easy for my clients to manage and is modular which means I can add features to the website such as:
- Photo Gallery
- News
- Events Calendar
- Online Forms
- and more...
All of my web design projects are built using a content management system which gives the advantage of:
- powerful database system
- potential to add unlimited pages, change page hierarchy, 2 level navigation (depending on package)
- add or change images, PDF attachments, links and more depending on your site's features
